Andrew Gumbert

Research Interests: Using software tools and AI to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare.

Andrew joins the MBI program with a robust interdisciplinary background in computer science, cognitive science, and biology. As an undergraduate at Tufts University, Andrew enjoyed contributing to neuroscience research with advanced computational techniques. In the MBI program, Andrew is interested in artificial intelligence, clinical decision-making, understudied conditions, and other research areas where progress could benefit many lives.
