Boyi Yang, PhD, MBI
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2019
Boyi Yang worked as a postdoc fellow at Emory School of Medicine from 2015-2017 conducting interdisciplinary research on mathematical and engineering solutions as a member of the Emory Cardiovascular Imaging and Biomechanics Core Laboratory. Before that, he earned a PhD and MS in Mathematics from Emory University where his thesis was Numerical Modeling of Blood Flow Problems in Coronary Arteries. Yang chose the Harvard MBI because "it is the best program to learn data science for medical research. I hope to go on to work in a research position in biomedical engineering/informatics."
