Esteban Gershanik is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Evidence-Based Imaging. As a physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics who has worked on health care reform, public health matters, and disaster management, Gershanik believes the key to the future of healthcare is through biomedical informatics. "By streamlining our current healthcare system with the advent of the newest technologies, we can optimize quality and access to care, while also being cost-effective. Through this program, I plan to learn the core principles of biomedical informatics in order to participate and lead this new and bright future in healthcare delivery."
