Fiona McBride, SM
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2024
Fiona received a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Professional Writing: Science Communication from UC Santa Barbara. While there, she worked in the Goard Lab, using advanced microscopy to understand the neural circuits informing vision, navigation, and memory. She also worked with the Blau Lab at Stanford University, studying muscle stem cells as therapeutic targets for reversing age- and disease-related muscle atrophy. She hopes to go on to a career in translational research.
Her research interests include spatial transcriptomics, complex data visualization, and genomics.
