Huaming Sun is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Farhat Lab. He received his PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute under the joint mentorship of Dr. Scarlet Shell and Dr. Dmitry Korkin. His doctoral research focused on gene regulation and mRNA metabolism in mycobacteria, with an emphasis on enhancing the understanding of mRNA degradation mechanisms. Currently, his research focuses on investigating the transcriptional effect of regulatory variants in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
