Jiaye Chen, MBI
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2022
Jiaye Chen previously worked as a research assistant at a psychiatry lab at UCSD School of Medicine where he analyzed high throughput sequencing data for various projects related to risk genes of Autism Spectrum Disorder. During this process, he realized that measuring capabilities and computational power have dramatically changed the ways to address the biological and biomedical field, which empowers clinical practice in fundamental ways. In the future, Jiaye Chen is interested in applying deep learning skills to explore more solutions in biomedical study.
