Lin Shen, MD, MBI
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2020
Lin Shen spent a year as an academic hospitalist before coming to Brigham and Women’s Hospital for a GI fellowship. "I have worked on multiple health IT projects, including automatic neuroimaging segmentation algorithms, as well as Epic-related implementation and optimization efforts. My primary interests are clinical decision support, subspecialty panel management, and workflow optimization. I am pursuing the MBI to build a foundation for an academic clinical informatics career. I hope to work towards a future where health IT can utilize both traditional and novel machine-learning derived algorithms on live data to offer truly tailored clinical support at the point of care."
