Master of Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2012
Biomedical Informatics Research Training Fellow, 2010-2012
Mark Yinger is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Division of Clinical Decision Making, Informatics, and Telemedicine. "Biomedical informatics represents the interface between complex medical practice and the innovations of information technology. As a physician, I want to learn ways to make this interface more seamless. I am most interested in clinical and population health informatics as applied to pediatrics, particularly in the field of infectious diseases. I hope to contribute to advances in health information exchange, electronic health record systems, microbial and syndromic surveillance, and decision-making tools."
