Pouria Salehi Nowbandegani, PhD, SM
Research Fellow in Biomedical Informatics
Master of Biomedical Informatics Program, Class of 2024
I came from a pure-mathematics background to study large, complex, and random structures with a biomedical flavor. Before joining HMS, I was a postdoctoral associate at Dr. O'Connor's Lab at the Broad Institute. During my postdoctoral years, my research centered around statistical genetics. In 2020, I earned my Ph.D. in mathematics from Vanderbilt University under the supervision of Dr. Mark Ellingham, with my research primarily dedicated to graph theory.
Pouria's research interests include regularities in random, large, and complex structures.
