Richard Yang, MBI

Richard attended McGill University, where he studied biology and computer science. He focused his undergrad research on neuroscience and he specialized in cerebellum imaging and analysis. His previous project involves analyzing glia expression in the cerebellum of ARSACS mouse model. Richard is interested in advancing neuroimaging and high-throughput image analysis. He is also enthusiastic about using methods like dynamic programming to solve decision-making problems and developing machine learning models that will be applied to genomic datasets to improve personalized medicine.
