Sitong Ye Chen, MBI
During his studies at McGill, Sitong gained advanced knowledge of quantitative methods accompanied by research experience in Physics, Computer Science, and Biology. His undergraduate research revolved around applying microscopic methods to study molecular interactions and developing computer vision-based techniques to analyze noisy data more efficiently. He hopes to expand his informatics toolkit in the biomedical context and appreciates the opportunity to better reflect on the responsibility of a bioinformatics researcher during the master’s program. Currently, Sitong’s research interests include clinical decision making and precision medicine using artificial intelligence.
