Usman Tahir, MD, MBI
After obtaining his medical degree, Usman completed his internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center. Usman also served as chief medical resident for the program and then went on to complete his cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. Usman is currently a research fellow at BIDMC, investigating the genomic, proteomic and metabolomic contributions to cardiovascular disease. He hopes to build a skill set that will allow him to utilize and integrate these high dimensional data sets with phenotypic data to uncover novel pathways in CVD development. Usman's is interested in pursuing research in omics and artificial intelligence.
