Mentor: Peter Park, PhD

Vinay Viswanadham is a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Peter Park at Harvard Medical School, from which he received his PhD in Biomedical Informatics in May 2023. He completed his dissertation on the origins, patterns, and consequences of somatic mutations in cancer, brain development, and gene editing. He continues to study somatic mutations in these three settings by developing computational methods to detect somatic mutations from emerging technologies.
