Yuwei Zhang obtained her PhD degree in 2022, under the supervision of Professor Shuai Cheng Li in the Department of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. During her doctoral training, Yuwei focused on designing graph-based algorithms for identifying the hierarchical structure of TADs or TAD-like domains. In the Park Lab, she is working on computational analysis of genome and epigenome sequencing data to understand mosaic mutations as well as the integration of chromosomal interaction data for genomic variant interpretation.
