Kira Zhang, MBI
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2021
Kira received her Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in biology and Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Chemistry from Emory University. Her undergraduate research focused on cardiomyocyte regeneration. While in college, she also served as an advanced emergency medical technician. At DBMI, she wants to acquire more advanced quantitative skills through biomedical informatics research, and her research interest includes using AI and machine learning to conduct genomic analysis, and to aid medical decision making.
