Zhenglun Kong is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, working closely with Marinka Zitnik. He received his PhD from Northeastern University and was a research intern at Microsoft Research, ARM, and Samsung Research. He was honored as a Machine Learning and Systems Rising Star (2024). His research focuses on developing general machine-learning models to enhance single-cell genomics. He is also working on improving the efficiency and reliability of medical AI models, with methods including accelerating pre-training, fine-tuning, and inference, as well as model compression.
